Usually Nadine and I play Rummikubs at night, but tonight we decided to try Bananagrams, a game Nadine got for Christmas a couple of years ago. I love that Nadine loves to play games, and I personally love word games like Scrabble and Boggle, but we’d never played Banangrams because she seemed a bit young for the game. But she’s almost ten now, and an amazing reader and writer, and so we decided to give it a shot. We played for a long time, but called it quits before I could claim victory. She’s still a bit young for the game, although she did great. It’s just that some of her words weren’t actually words. I like the game though, and hopefully we’ll keep playing, and maybe I can find an adult to play with some time.
