Played Sardines With the Kids

We went away with the kids for Todd’s birthday to a friend’s cabin, and the kids begged us to play their favorite hide-and-seek game, called Sardines.  I really just wanted to relax and read my magazine, but my mouth said “okay” and before I knew it we were all four playing this super fun game, and laughing hysterically.  Here’s how you play:  one person gets 40 seconds to hide, and then the others start looking.  If someone finds the hider, they squeeze in and join him, until everyone is squished into the hiding place and nobody is left seeking.  It just gets pretty funny trying to stay quiet and hidden when there are a bunch of you hiding in a tight spot and people close by that still can’t find you.
