“Jump and a Net Will Appear”

I saw this quote on a greeting card a couple of years ago and it has stuck with me ever since.  Back then I was thinking of how it applied to my husband, who wanted to quit his job and start his own metal fabrication shop.  Which he did.  But then I started thinking about how badly I needed to jump.

And I finally did it.  I jumped into the void.  I quit my job in June. I don’t have another job to go to, or a lot of savings, or a million dollar idea.  And while it may seem crazy, I feel incredibly sane.  Better than sane.  I feel happy, invigorated, and unafraid.  I have no idea what I want to do, but I feel completely excited about what the future holds.  I have faith in the net.

So I am starting this blog with the intention of documenting my journey.    What will become of me?  What will I discover along the way?  What are other people doing to turn their lives around?  Stay tuned…

And welcome to my blog and my first posting!
